Welcome
The new Doctoral Program in Economics at the University of Zurich (DPE@UZH) aims to establish itself as one of the strongest doctoral programs in Europe. The Department of Economics backing up the DPE@UZH comprises 14 Chairs at the Institute for Empirical Research in Economics (IEW) and the Socio-Economic Institute (SOI), and a large number of associate and assistant professors. The teaching language is English. Internationally renowned visiting professors regularly give short courses on special topics.There are no tuition fees except for a small administrative charge (CHF 140.00 per semester).
There are two rounds of candidate selections with application deadlines of January 31st and March 31st of the year in which a student seeks admission. Courses start in September.
